Founders Way North
Medina, Ohio
We are Medina residents (owners and renters) and businesses within the boundaries of up to E Liberty to Harding streets on North Broadway, east to Spring Grove and west to Court Street. (Click here to see a boundary map of all the historic neighborhoods)

Founders Way North is named for three Medina founders; Rufus Ferris, David King and Lathrop Seymour, each of these founders built their homes on Broadway Street.
Rufus Ferris built his home at 325 North Broadway, where it still remains today. Ferris is one of the first land agents for Elijah Boardman, who is credited for discovering Medina County in the 1700s.
David King built his mansion in 1833 and it was originally located at 210 South Broadway, where the Medina County Library is located today. The house was purchased in 1895 by Fremont O. Phillips, a mayor of the village, U.S. Congressman and probate judge. Phillips moved the house in to 506 North Broadway, where it is located today.
